As the speaker for your event, Dr. Van Ginkel gets to the heart of what women often don't openly talk about, their deepest and closest relationships with their girlfriends.  The mother of two daughters and grandmother to two girls, Dr. Van Ginkel's own life experience speaks to the feminine psyche - how women relate to each other as friends. Dr. Van Ginkel wrote the book with her friend, Betsy Newman as they reflected on the girlfriendships that spanned their lives and after they interviewed 75 girls and women about their friendship experiences. She discusses:
